I've been a loyal Globe user for as long as I can remember. Hindi talaga ako nagpapalit kahit ang lakas maka-hype ng Talk & Text, Sun at Touch Mobile dati. Ayoko kasi ng papalit palit ng number at mahilig akong mag-save ng mga old text messages.
Hanggang sa nauso ang android phones. Nagkaroon ng dual sim. Nasira ang phone. Nawala ang phone. Nakatamaran na ang pag-tetext/call at naging parang radyo at pang-selfie na lang ang phone.
When I discovered Smart LTEs, akala ko tuluyan ko nang tatalikdan ang Globe. For me, Smart's LTE 50 is the most noble promo na ini-offer ng isang mobile phone company dito sa Pilipinas para sa mga prepaid subscribers.
Kaso walang LTE coverage ang Smart dito sa Marikina. And PLDT needs more time para mailipat ang aming broadband connection from Las Pinas.
Akala ko hindi ako bibiguin ng Globe. After all, hindi ko naman sila tinalikuran. Also, I survived Odesk naman with their surf promos before.
I was wrong.
VERY WRONG.
I spent almost 500 freaking pesos worth of prepaid load for a $50 fixed-rate Upwork project!
Imagine that!

Nag-aksaya pa ako ng kuryente. Nag midnight snack pa ako. Nagpuyat for 3 days.

I don't know how they calculate data usage with their Fair Use Policy b*#lsh!t. Hindi ko rin alam kung bakit palagi akong nada-data cap despite of making tipid my internet usage.
I had no choice but to renew my Supersurf promo every time. Or use the internet on a regular 5pesos/15minutes rate. That's the only way kasi para bumalik sa normal ang internet speed eh.
Nasaan ang hustisya doon?!
I had to decline job invitations and interviews tuloy as well as withdraw most of my job applications on Upwork.
