Caylee just told me na hindi na daw sya tumatabi sa mga boys, AT HINDI NA DIN DAW NYA CRUSH yung isang boy na panay ang lapit sa kanya.

EMEGERD!

Magfi five pa lang talaga sya next month eh! Waaaahhhhh!

I'm having second thoughts blogging about this dahil baka sumbatan ako ng bagets paglaki nya at mabasa ito. I mean, she's barely 5 pa lang talaga eh. Malay nya sa pagiging judge mental ko. HAHAHA

Pero dahil nga lukaret ako, kwento ko na rin (sorry anak). Nakakatuwa din naman. Hehe

A few weeks ago, nung panay ang ulan, we were allowed na ihatid at sunduin ang mga bata in front of their classroom sa PES. One time na napaaga ako nasilip ko 'tong isang little boy na panay ang lapit sa Cayleepot. He even helped her fixed her things bago lumabas ng classroom. 

I panicked. 

A LOT.

ME: Sino yung boy na yun anak?  Bakit sya naglagay ng mga gamit mo sa bag? Diba sabi ko ikaw dapat nag-aayos ng mga things mo?

CAYLEE:  Ma, sabi nya crush nya daw ako! (with an innocent glee in her face)

I panicked pa more.

ME: HA?! Ano sabi mo? Don't let him kiss and hug you ha. Baby pa kayo. Pang ate lang yun at saka tita and Mama. (Di na ako magkandaugaga sa pangunguna, HAHAHA!) 

To the rescue naman ang Papa Prinz.

PAPA PRINZ: Okay lang crush-crush anak. Ang ibig sabihin lang naman nun ay like ka nya. Pero Mama is right. No kissing and hugging in school

ME: Wag ka na kasi tumabi sa mga boys. Bukas hanapin mo si Abi (one of her girl classmates) tapos sa kanya ka tumabi ha.

Paulit-ulit kami nyan. Para akong nanay ko dati. Susme!

ME: Bakit kasi tumatabi ka sa mga boys anak? Dapat maghanap ka ng girl din, tapos sila gawin mong friends (luh, biglang naging sexist/feminist amp!)

CAYLEE: Okay, okay.

PAPA PRINZ: Mama ano ba yan? You're just making it complicated. Chill.

To be fair naman, parang alam ko na kung bakit sya tumatabi sa mga boys. Their table kasi is besides the TV that plays animated ABCs, etc. Ideal pwesto nga naman yun to watch pag TV time na.

And after a while, na realized ko din na ang OA ko pala. HAHA. Diba nga iba na ang mga bagets nowadays. Mas open na sila to act out what they think of certain situations. I know. I know. Ginamit ko sana yung opportunity to guide her and not dictate her initially. Serehnemen.

I reminded myself to take it easy next time para hindi maalangan mag-open up sa akin ang anak ko. I don't want her to hesitate on telling me (or her Papa) about anything and everything. So far, it seems like Prinz and I naman are doing the right thing on raising Caylee. 

Well, sana...

I read somewhere na 40 pounds or around 18 kilos ang normal weight ng average 4+ years old girls. 

Hindi ko na masyadong na-verify that information because hindi pa ako ganun ka bothered sa weight ni Caylee that time. 

Actually, Caylee's weight naman was never an issue to me dahil pagkapanganak ko pa lang sa kanya, I was informed na by her pedia na considered as low birth weight na sya. Meaning she wasn't able to grow fully on my uterus kasi inilabas ko sya agad even before full term of pregnancy.

I was given an option na i-formula feed sya (including yung pampataba talaga) but I opted to breastfeed her which I'm very proud to say na one of the best decision na ginawa ko as a mother.

Tumaba din naman sya with my breastmilk alone during the first 6 months. =)

Now na nagii-school na sya and everything, she barely weighs 15 kilos. Wala naman talagang gaanong pumapansin but I'm starting to get a little worried. She's eating well naman pag nasa house (may feeding chenes sila sa school and sometimes di nya gusto the food there). Medyo madalas may lagnat, ubo at sipon this year compared to last year pero very active naman and bibo palagi.

We will certainly bring her to a pedia this vacation at babaguhin her diet dahil guilty ako on giving her unhealthy food sometimes. Hehe

Hopefully, magkalaman sya ulet soon.

Mabuti na lang cute pa rin ang konting chubby cheeks na yan.
